The Role and Ministry of Dr. John G.L. & Nancy Burpee
John was born in Houlton, Maine. He married Nancy, also from Maine, in August of 1974. They have two children, Chad, and Julie, and five grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Air Force for nine years. John and Nancy have and continue to travel extensively holding Healing crusades, Leadership conferences, Revival meetings around the world. They reside Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas and serves Destiny Churches & Ministries International. He also travels and ministers through John Burpee Ministries.
John has a three-year diploma from Faith Bible College, Charleston, Maine and has a BA. in Bible from Central Bible College, Springfield, Missouri. M.A. Christian Leadership, Doctorate in Ministry DMin, PhD Strategic Leadership, Destiny College Brooksville, Florida. John and Nancy are certified Life Coaches. He has pastored as an ordained minister for over twenty-five years and full-time ministry over 40 years.
His role is CEO/Founder of John Burpee Ministries. He is also the Founder/Servant of Destiny Churches and Ministries International, Ministers Network. He brings leadership to churches, ministers, and ministries. He teaches trains, equips, and sends leaders into the ministry. He helps leaders to start (plant) churches and ministries. He is there to be a covering for those ministers and ministries. He recognizes the call of God on individual’s lives and helps them come into full time ministry by training, equipping, ordaining, and sending.
He believes you can be called into different sectors of our society: Civic (political) Business (marketplace) Ecclesial (local church and support ministries of the local church) as full-time ministers.
He is also a Bridge Builder. He helps regions, churches, ministries, ministers, businesses, and others get connected with the right people and the right resources. His desire and assignment is to help be a catalyst in getting people to step into their assignment and fulfill their destiny.
God is using Apostle John to move those on the left and right sides of the bridge to the center where there can a be balance but also an adventuress pioneer spirit, where leadership can be brought around those unknowns as to stay biblically based, and where people don’t have to be tolerated, they can be celebrated.
